Desert Flower Foundation - Save A Desert Flower

Female Genital Mutilation is not a ‘cleansing ritual’. It is a practice linked to structural gender inequality.
Working with Coco de Mer and the Desert Flower Foundation, this film was created to raise awareness of FGM and to advocate for women whose voices have been silenced by fear and violence.

Along with the film, we worked with photographer, Rankin, to shoot portraits of Waris Dirie, the DFF Founder and former model. She wears the Coco de Mer ‘Icons’ collection, proceeds of which go to her foundation’s cause.
