2017 saw an unprecedented level of humanitarian disasters in the UK. Grenfell, London Bridge & Manchester were examples of these tragedies, where hundreds of British Red Cross volunteers came out to support their communities. We paid tribute to the extraordinary acts of kindness of these volunteers with a series of portraits, shot by Rankin.
